In my own past I had a history of spending a lot of my time and energy thinking about things that happened in the past, as well as thinking of things that could happen in the future which caused a lot of anxiety in my life. I sometimes had difficulty enjoying the present moment and all the happiness it could bring until I found Vedic Meditation. Once I discovered Vedic Meditation it changed my personal and professional life for the better in so many ways. Because of all the benefits I gained in my own practice, this inspired me to want to teach others. I paused my career and personal life and traveled to Rishikesh, India in the base of the beautiful Himalayan mountains and spent 3 months to train to become a Vedic Meditation teacher with my teacher Thom Knoles.

Overall health and wellness has always played a big role in my life. I have been a Elementary School Physical Education teacher in the Chicagoland area for the past 22 years. My hobbies include travel, ballroom dancing with my wife and singing in our family rock band.
